FLOWER & TRAFFIC BOX PROJECT FUNDED BY
ESSEX COUNTY LOCAL ARTS PROGRAM GRANT
In the top photos are flower boxes supplied by the CCO and created by students at Orange Preparatory Academy with plantings to be done by Orange Department of Public Works. An “unveiling” ceremony when the two boxes are placed in the Orange business district will be held in the Spring, 2025.
In the lower photo, artist Luis Oliva poses next to the mural he created to beautify a previously graffiti-tagged traffic box at the corner of Main Street and Tony Galante Plaza in Orange just east of the US Post Office.
A wall mural in Orange’s business district, funded by another Essex County Local Arts Program grant, is planned in 2025.
